MOBILE COMMUNICATION EMERGENCY RESPONSE VEHICLES
Comdex’s Mobile Communications Emergency Response Vehicles offers state-of-the-art technology wireless communications with the “Bleeding Edge” connectivity. With Comdex’s committed team of partners, we cover situational awareness and 3-D location and tracking in the absence of a fixed communications infrastructure. Our challenging work with other vehicles or remnants of existing communications infrastructure will help to seamlessly create a powerful, ubiquitous meshed network for first responders. The system dynamically selects the fastest connection for communication using wireless, and satellite communications in concert while in the hot zone. These vehicles provide instant communications and Command and control capabilities for an area as large as 20 miles in diameter. As simple as turning on the lights, the vehicle will light communications, video, voice (VOIP/ Secure Phone, FAX, LMR, Video Conferencing, Cellular), and data, while proving mission critical applications to those in the hot zone for as many as 150 phones, computers and handheld devices per vehicle, on radio channels from high-frequency (2 Mhz) through 800 Mhz,” without the need for a communications operator.
In addition the vehicle can listen in on over 100 communication channels civilian and DoD, feeding those as packets into filtering systems looking for critical messages during a crisis. While the responders are focused on the mission, the on-board systems test the environment for Biological, Radiological, and chemical agents that are harmful. The light armor vehicle carries high powered video equipment on board allows first responders to investigate and analyze things not possible with the human eye. The onboard monitors track vital signs of responding personnel and provide the incident commander oversight of the responders’ environmental conditions. It also delivers voice communications and live high-quality video to the incident commander and headquarters coordinating the operation. Where appropriate state of the art Anti IED components to further protect the team. The On-board backup communication modules can be easily removed in a ‘fly away kit allowing them to be left at smaller command bases extending the reach of the meshed network, and leaving behind communications for civilian responders supporting the mission as well.
